The Conference Dinner will be held on the evening of Tuesday 5th July. The venue this time will be Sheffield Cathedral, in the centre of the city. Sheffield Cathedral is the oldest building in Sheffield still in daily use. Formerly the Parish Church of Sheffield, it was granted Cathedral status in 1914 – however the history of Christianity on this site goes back over 1000 years.
The Cathedral was recently named Building of the Year at the Royal Institute of British Architects’ (RIBA) Yorkshire Awards, and also won the Yorkshire Conservation Award and RIBA Yorkshire Award 2015.
Transport will be provided from the The Edge to the Cathedral and back to The Edge afterwards.
