The conference presentations and exhibitions will be located in:

All rooms will be ensuite.

For those delegates who have booked accommodation with the conference for the evening of Sunday 17th June, your accommodation for the conference will be located in Stephenson Hall. For all other delegates, accommodation will be located in Tapton Hall.

Coaches will be available to transport delegates between the Octagon Centre and the Halls of Residence.

Trains to Sheffield depart from Manchester airport at:

Monday 18th June

Trains to Sheffield depart from Manchester airport at:
06:45, 07:05, 07:52, 08:07, 08:52, 09:52, 10:07, 10:52, 11:07, 11:52, 12:07.

Those shown in bold are direct trains, others require a change at Manchester Piccadilly. Journey time is approximately 1 hour and 10-15 minutes for direct trains, and 1 hour and 20-25 minutes otherwise.

Directions

Sheffield is located at the centre of Britain, only a few minutes away from the M1 motorway and with direct rail links to London and other major cities. Details on how to travel to Sheffield can be found here.

The Octagon Centre is Western Bank which can be found on this map. Conference registration will take place at the Octagon Centre. Tapton and Stephenson Halls can be found on this map to the west of the University Precinct area and labelled 12 and 16 respectively.

The best way to travel from Sheffield Railway Station to the Octagon Centre or the halls is by taxi (there are usually plenty of taxis available outside the station). Alternatively, you could take a tram from the station to the 'University of Sheffield' tram stop (10-15 minute ride). The Octagon Centre is a five minute walk from the stop.

If you are coming by car, there is ample parking at both halls; but please note that parking near the Octagon Centre is limited. Please park at your respective halls and fill in and display this parking permit on the windscreen of your car.

Conference registration includes accommodation for the evenings of June 18th and June 19th and, for those who have booked during registration, the evening of June 17th.
