INTRODUCTION

The Chemical Structure Association Trust and the Molecular Graphics and Modelling Society held their Third Joint Sheffield Conference on Chemoinformatics in The Octagon Centre, University of Sheffield, UK, from 21st to 23rd April 2004.

Bursaries Available

A number of bursaries were available for graduate students to attend the Third Joint Sheffield Conference on Chemoinformatics. The bursaries were awarded by the Chemical Computing Group (CCG), the Chemical Structure Association Trust and the Molecular Graphics and Modelling Society and included conference registration, accommodation and a contribution towards travel expenses. Each CCG bursary winner also received a free copy of MOE to use for 12 months.

Previous Meetings

The first Sheffield Chemoinformatics Conference was held in April, 1998, and entitled, Computational Approaches to the Design and Analysis of Combinatorial Libraries.

The second Sheffield Chemoinformatics Conference was held in April, 2001. Entitled, Computational Tools for Lead Discovery, the conference web page, containing a full programme, is still available here.
